Bert and Ernie

Last week was a heartbreaking week for us with the chickens.  We lost eight of them in eight days from fox attacks. 
Now we have a new electric fence. Since it went up, we haven't lost any chickens. The bonus is that the goats can roam in the woods without doing damage to the house, and the chickens can free range without worry of a fox attack. The fence is only 6 volts, but that is enough.
