I have no idea what our vegetable was tonight. It arrived in our CSA box today, and after sampling it, I determined a quick sauté to wilt it was appropriate. (They were very long greens, about an inch wide, with as much stem as they had leaf, with a bitter greens taste somewhere between spinach and dandelion.) The wine was exquisite... we have two more bottles, but I don't expect we will touch one for a few more years.
The mystery green is mustard spinach.
