WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE.

We have been away for 5 days to Crantock where we used to live.  It was lovely to see lovely friends that we miss so dearly.

The first half of the week was lovely but on Thursday the gales and rain were horrendous.  By Friday it wasn't any better so we left as soon as possible but sadly so did everyone else.

It took over 4 hours to get home with long ques of traffic everywhere.  Poor Oscar and Phoebe were glad to get out at Exeter Services to relieve themselves.

But the garden looks amazing and has benefited from all the rain.  This lovely Rhododendron was in tight bud when we left!!

Now its washing, sorting etc.  but it was good to get away and we long to get back to live down there one day.
