MY GARDEN IN BLOOM

These lovely pale blue Iris have done really well this year.  I didn't divide them and they are really enjoying being just in front of the pond.  The photo doesn't do them justice.

We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner with Matthew at our local White Hart pub.  They do a splendid job of looking after us.  It was sadly spoiled by a particularly noisy table of what seemed to be two families with young children who were allowed to run around.  There was a baby in a pram who obviously needed attention and to our horror the nappy was changed on the chair at the table!!   I thought I had seen everything but surely!!!!

Apart from them who should have been in Benadorm  most likely, Isobel and Peter who run the place, didn't see what was going on.  When I told them after they, like me, were horrified.  Just shows, you get pikeys everywhere.

The rest day was spent in the garden listening to the birds and watching the flowers move in the light breeze.

Let us all enjoy the start of summer, hopefully.
