It has been a pleasant day, with lots of sunshine and highs of around 15C.
We were down at Broughton Heights, near Biggar, this afternoon, and we were enjoying the view of the hills, when along came the shepherd and his two border collies, and we had a good conversation with him.  The dog on the left is 15 years old and the other one 7 years old, but they were both perky.

We passed Broughton Place, built by the then unknown Basil Spence in 1935 in the style of a 17th centrury Scottish baronial tower house.

We headed down to the village and  had tea and a cheese scone (the HG had coffee and a fruit scone) at the village tearoom, and had a second wee walk in Biggar before heading home.

My collage shows some of the things I photographed on our day.
