isolation day 10
" A tale of 2 shirts " These are 2 shirts that I wore today the 1st one the blue which is my Wigan Warriors away shirt as they played at lunchtime away at Salford and we listened to it on the internet. They made hard work of it and just managed to win with a drop goal 17 - 16 . It was then time to change my shirts and put my Lincoln city shirt on which is a 2002 limited edition shirt which was put on sale to help save Lincoln when they was facing financial struggles . Lincoln was away at Sunderland in the 2nd leg of the playoff's leading 2-0 from the 1st leg it was not all over. Again Lincoln made hard work of it and at halftime we was 2-0 down after a very poor 1st half performance. We started the 2nd half a lot better after making 2 changes at halftime . We managed to score a goal giving us momentum we then had a penalty saved . We managed to hang on to win 3-2 on aggregates . A place at Wembley in the final next Sunday for a dream place in the Championship next season. No matter what happens we have come along way as only a few years ago we was playing nonleague football .
The only sad thing is that only 4 000 fans from each club will be able to travel to watch them due to restrictions yet for the FA cup each club was given 10 000 tickets.
Anyway time to celebrate with a few beers tonight no cheeky glass of Red and hopefully watch a good film.
Good news is we are all feeling a lot better still coughing and no taste or smell but that should change with time
