Going back to my roots

It seems appropriate to be posting an old tree stump for my 100th blip! It's kind of where I started out. This one I find quite sad and poignant.
I enjoy wandering about on this little wooded hill and surrounds. It has a lot of character, with old rotten trees, strange looking stumps (eg. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2808071833302076734) and ancient looking Hollies with interestingly shaped trunks (see first extra).
We've actually had a pretty nice day today, with quite a lot of sunshine, and no rain for a change! Earlier this evening I took some photos of garden plants while there was a nice strong light, so I'm throwing in a second extra too of Euphorbia.
