Eggnog? In summer?

We were distance visiting with some Dutch friends tonight, and they asked if we wanted to try a little treat.

I’m always up for a treat, and once I tasted it, I sure was up for that treat.

I guess it’s a Dutch thing, but it’s an egg liquor. Just eggs and alcohol. Which sounds pretty weird, but I guess if you put some whip cream on it really does have a eggnog feel to it. I just don’t want to drink a big cup of it, it’s too much. So the cups were maybe two or 3 teaspoon size. Not much at all.

But it was like drinking eggnog after Christmas.Kind of a fun little surprise, and yes it was a treat because I like eggnog.
