Hummer of the Day (2)

Recovery day today, so sitting in the garden watching for hummingbirds was enough exercise. (Holding up the longish lens was more than enough).  The bottlebrush trees are passing their peak, so the birds are even more elusive.  I'll have to resort to filling up the feeders soon - though I wonder how long before all the feeders select for large lazy hummingbirds who sit down to eat?
Edit: I recently learned that nectar, natural or from a feeder, is only a quick energy snack for them, they eat insects for protein - so they probably won't end up the size of crows however many feeders they visit!
