LD 427 Old paths made passable

In fact there wasn't much more than a deer track here before we and our neighbours started to use this to get between the houses a few years ago.  Now it is  reasonably obvious as it winds its way through the birch trees, but after a wet and cold spring there are quite a few muddy bits.

Fortunately we are also clearing rocks from the new area that is to be sown with grass seed so the old technique of moving smaller stones from one place to another, and putting them to use in bottoming a worn path, is being used yet again, as it probably has around here for many centuries.
