Even more unlocked

We had a plan to complete two more Wainwrights today but in the event decided to just do Harter Fell.
We met Ali our daughter at the car park and set off up a seemingly vertical rocky slope. It was a hard climb to the top. We had our picnic lunch at the top and  decided not to continue on to Green Crag, the way looked boggy and we older fogeys couldn’t really face going down then up again! We had a long walk back along a forest track listening to the cuckoos.
We’ll have to make a trip back to finish off Green Crag.
Photo is from the  top looking towards the Duddon Estuary, using the phone photo as the Fuji camera similar photo seems to have an odd blue colour in the distance
