Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree

Ann went out for a bike ride this morning whilst I finished off some WRAP stuff from yesterday.  The weather appears to be on the turn, the second dry day in a row, so we took a little drive to Wilmcote to take a walk by the canal.  Along the towpath is this magnificent Horse Chestnut tree in full flower.

On the way back into the village I read the notice outside Mary Arden's Farm.  It would appear that there are no plans to reopen this Shakespearean property to the public, although it may be used as a dedicated primary education facility.

Across the road the sheep have been replaced by a clutch of English Longhorn cows.  One came over to say hello, I've added her to the extras.
