Cool change expected

.... and about time too. It, as in the temperature, topped out at 40 degrees again today, but a cool change will blow through later tonight, to bring blessed relief.

In the meantime, it's still blowing a gale but it's a northerly which brings heat from the inland. And the fact that it's windy makes getting a macro just a tad difficult. It's too hot for most buglets anyway, so I was pleased to see this little harlequin bug, and it's not a tight crop because the focus isn't as good as I would like it. Having said that, if you go in large, you can see that his tiny body is covered in hairs.

I think that's rather cute.
