Poppies with war memorials

Just walked back across the Hoe from the communion service and in one of the gardens noticed these beautiful bright poppies. Had to walk into the garden to get close to them then noticed the war memorials behind and the flags on the right. Right placement quite by chance!

As I was in the garden I noticed the plaque on display, also deserving of a blip so in extra! Shocking vision of the overcrowded slave ships and as it proclaims a small part of the anti slavery campaign!
