Today was my lazy day, because I actually had no socialising planned. I’d hoped for more of yesterday’s weather so I could lay in the garden and read my book but it was really cloudy today.

I did have a walk into town to buy a few things for dinner, and while I was there had a look in a couple of shops and got a big iced Costa drink.

This evening I cooked dinner again, including my first ever artichokes. I don’t feel bad about only ever buying them jarred before because ohhh what a pain in the arse. They tasted quite nice but I think it was mainly the vinaigrette and definitely not worth all the hassle.

This had to be today’s blip because I bought Ma this dinner set in Bristol and carried it home the other night and it was bloody heavy.
