Hadrian's Wall

An amazing day, from a wonderful breakfast at the hotel, to visiting Housesteads, and then we walked along Hadrian's Wall, 3.5 miles out and then back again. We even passed the tree made famous by a scene from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (where Robin and Azeem first come across Guy of Gisbourne). The view is when we came out of the woods from the first section of the wall out of Housesteads - looking across to where it runs along the ridge of the cliff.
