Terrarium

This is a desperation shot of a terrarium desperately in need of maintenance. It is the home of my jewel orchid, but I planted a hare’s foot fern in there to keep it company and that has more or less taken over.

It has been raining non-stop all day. There is a heavy rain warning out for most of Canterbury, with widespread flooding expected. It is predicted to last at least three days. Bad news for many people. I should be fine as water drains away quickly from my garden.
