Mhor

What a day.
Up at 6am, jumped in the car and over to Perthshire. Bagged two misty Munros, Beinn Ghlas then Ben Lawers. Lots and lots of walkers in the hills which actually was quite nice and sociable. Thirteen km and 20,000 steps later we came back down to a lovely seafood platter at The Courie Inn Killin.
At last, the booking we’ve been waiting for Monachyle Mhor... cancelled twice during lockdown. It’s our favourite boutique hotel with a sumptuous courtyard room. A wee walk to the shore of Loch Voil and we found The Mirrored Box... an oddity that was as named, a mirrored box. Spent a funny few minutes posing in the magic mirrors throwing a few shapes, few of them flattering.
Bath then dinner. Eight courses! Eight, delicious courses! None too big or too small, all with incredible rate of fresh local produce. To die for!
Extras are us at the misty trig point stop Ben Lawers and a view of Loch Voil in our after dinner wander.
Perfect day
