Meadow Pipit

Spotted this lovely little bird up at Mugdock Country Park this morning, I am pretty sure it is a Meadow Pipit but could be wrong. It is very well camouflaged in the long grass and had a mouthful of insects to take back to it’s young. Beautiful sunny, mild morning for a walk and very quiet, we arrived at 08:15, walked for an hour and a half and saw very few people, being the Bank Holiday I am sure that will be different later on!
