Ardmore Point

Visited Glenarn Gardens in Rhu this morning which has a large collection of rhododendrons, my favourite was Rhododendron Luteum in the extra which filled the air with a beautiful strong perfume.
On the way home we had a walk at Ardmore Point located between Cardross and Helensburgh. The tide was out and there was very little wildlife to see, one seal a long way off and a few gulls. Perhaps the rest were wisely keeping out of the sun as unusually for here it was a baking hot day!

I have just been made aware of some very sad news that Val,  blipname Photogen has died. She was a passionate blipper and even posted many photos from her hospital bed during her recent illness. She introduced me and some others to Blipfoto in January whilst teaching a zoom photography class, she was a very vibrant and positive person and will be sadly missed.
