Flower!

So I've been nursing these two tomato plants, which now sit on a trolley that can be shifted between the sunroom and the utility room, according to the temperature. Even so, one has grown about a third taller than the other.

They have both put out tentative indications that they might just have flower buds but here is one that today has actually shown some colour.

I'm not massively confident of a crop per se but one or two tomatoes turning red and being edible would be nice.

On another matter, our trail camera picked up two badgers at 2am, and during the day we had house sparrows on the feeder - I can't remember the last time we had sparrows. Oh, and down in Piersfield this morning there were swifts screeching overhead - I haven't seen swifts in Scotland for years.
