Telecom Tower

In case you were wondering what the top of the building that was shrouded in cloud in last Friday's blip looks like, here it is. This is the building known today as the BT Tower, but which I grew up knowing as the Post Office Tower, a name now stuck in my brain for the structure. The top level used to be a revolving restaurant; it closed to the public in 1980, although I believe that the mechanism still works. What revolves now is the advertising light show that slowly scrolls around the upper level like a giant rotating billboard.
