Wild Pansies

These wild pansies really are wild despite being part of our garden's flora. I checked with Jan and she says she occasionally moves on to a new part of the garden but they spread themselves mostly.
They are the county flower and you see them growing in a lot of inhospitable places, up rockfaces, or on the very edge of a ploughed field.
Just at this moment they are flooding across our garden, together with that other wild element, the forget-me-not.
After the Covid jab we have felt slightly idle and it took a while to get going today. Mind you we also had a fair bit of admin to do this morning so just because we weren't out in the sun didn't mean we were idle.
Once we got out we did okay but we notice tiredness jumps on us in a way that is unusual. I'm sure we'll be ourselves in a couple of days. Jobs done? More overhanging branches removed, this time from the parking area. Admin done. A raised flowerbed half constructed for Jan. Blip up-to-date, at least when I publish yesterday's blip and today's.
