Hot clinic

We ended up at the ‘hot clinic’ at the Drs as Leo wasn’t well at all overnight with a stubborn fever of around 103 that wouldn’t come down, plus a headache, eye ache and feeling faint.

We had to do a lateral flow and PCR test that both proved negative. Then for the hot clinic, we had to get to the car park, phone the surgery when we got there, then a Dr came out and we saw them via a special side entrance at the Drs.  They are doing that for anyone with viral symptoms just in case it turns out to be COVID. They ruled out anything serious like meningitis and advised to keep dosing him with paracetamol, ibuprofen,  a load of water and just to go to the hospital if he took a turn for the worse.  They think it is just some viral infection that will eventually disappear.

So, it was a day of staying indoors and popping up and down the stairs to see to the patient - good for steps at least!
