noisy shoes

when I was a kid I used to think that these coal shuttles were shoes (a reasonable guess considering there were two of them and there was no sign of a coal fire). I used to delight in putting them on and attempting to walk then giving up and just shuffling along the carpet as fast as I could.

As an adult I think they would be perfect for those occasions when your normal shoes just aren't noisy enough. If you're in a bad mood and want the whole world to keep out of your way they would be the footwear of choice. I like the idea of a well-dressed business man/woman stomping to work sporting a 'noisy shoes' and 'naught socks' combo...
