ISO 20,000

There is no point trying to zoom in on these photos, there is no more detail.  The Red Kites nest at the top of a tall tree in the thickest part of the wood under the most dense canopy, where there is almost no light.  I hope you can make out from top left, clockwise, the adult female on the left and one of her chicks on the right; the adult flying away from her nest with the standing chick watching; the chick flapping its own quite well developed wings; and the second chick to the right of the standing chick.  The Red Kites have nested later than last year and will probably not have a second brood, but they do seem to have two sturdy chicks in the nest.
