Thief

I watched as this little female Goldfinch pulled on the rope of my hammock chair....I cut off some of the end strings for her, but she preferred to peck the fluff from the side of the rope. I can't say I blame her.....it looks like soft building material.

I am labeling this for Silly Saturday because I never cease to be amazed when I see what birds gather for their nests.

Remember how much I enjoyed seeing the Flicker nesting in my neighbors Fir tree.......well, their welcome may be withdrawn......evidently one of them like to look at himself in our bedroom sliding glass door and PECK at 6AM.....that is too early for me!  :-((
