More Hepaticas

Flowers at this time of year don't have to be showy. So few about that if you manage to get flowers out through the frozen ground, survive the occasional snow storm and dodge the waking slugs that all you need is 6 petals really.

You do get doubles of these plants but I feel sorry for them. All show and no functioning parts! That being said I did blip about the stunning double white hellebore the other day and will one day blip the double chocolate one too.

Flu update. For the first morning in a while the fug in my head seems to have lifted. Still got the physical symptoms but it is lovely to have my brain back!
