Allium explosion

A quiet(ish) Sunday. Fairly leisurely morning with a late bigger breakfast and a mid day walk completed the first part of the day.

As soon as we got bank Susan went to being her mum down while I cooked spaghetti Bolognese for dinner.

We’re one episode behind Call the Midwife so we watched the last programme together. By which time we had to get Doreen back home for the evening carer.

Had a very uplifting time talking to Chris and Landon in California. Counting out flying machine toys and listening to him babble away. It’s now 18 months since I last saw them both and much longer for Susan.

There was a very encouraging email from a well respected local person supporting our allotment campaign who has been mobilising support on our behalf. It’s given us hope that the plan can be defeated.

Plenty of candidates for today’s blip. Susan chose her alliums, she’s really pleased by their showing this year.
