Together

I was surprised to find ducks without offspring, yet here was a pair preening and enjoying the evening sun after another hot day.

I liked the contrast of sharp reeds and soft focus behind which seemed to suit the hazy heat filled air. It was by accident I managed in this version to frame the birds in the gap between the reed stems, I must try to remember that. My main concern was where in the frame to place the ducks and how much of the reeds to include.
