Unvaccinated Bahraini citizens living abroad are to get inoculated against the novel coronavirus

The partial closure of non-essential services has been extended for an additional two weeks commencing Friday (June 11) until June 25 as Bahrain continues to witness a downward curve in new active cases.

According to the announcement, malls, cinemas, retail shops, gym, fitness halls, entertainment facilities, spas, barbershops, massage parlours and salons in addition to pools will remain fully closed until June 25 while restaurants and cafes will be restricted to take-away orders and deliveries.

A report on the origins of Covid-19 by a US government national laboratory concluded that the hypothesis of a virus leak from a Chinese lab in Wuhan is plausible and deserves further investigation, 

India is offering free vaccines to all adults as it eases lockdown in several states following a steady fall in cases.
Infections peaked at around 400,000 a day in May after a devastating wave hit India at the start of April. But yesterday, the number of new Covid cases was the lowest it has been for two months – with 100,636 reported in the past 24 hours.
2,427 new deaths were registered in the latest 24-hour period yesterday, taking the total to 349,186.

India is still second to the US in terms of total cases globally – with almost 29 million
