Three Castles and a Tower

Rather a lot for one day but there are a great many places to visit. The weather was not good and, in fact, like walking through a cloud all day with varying degrees of wetness. Three fantastic castles in reasonable condition - the blip is of Llansteffan Castle and all at the top of very steep hills. The weakest one was Carnarvon where there are only a few bits left after the town hall was built on the same site. The last monument was Paxton's Tower - a relatively modern (18th century) three-sided grossness built as an ostentatious banqueting hall! (Extras of J and Pepper walking up and Pepper posing)

Now all dried out and have one more castle to visit tomorrow before the journey home.
