First Arrival

Lush, green, tall, strong would describe the meadow this year, but up until now flowers have been sadly missing. First to arrive are the Penstemons, which hopefully will develop into a sea of white. The impressive early growth bodes well for a strong showing later in the season.

I thought today, what makes a photo is largely chance. Which way I walk, a turn of the head, what's in light, or not, but mostly, my willingness to consider the possibilities.
