Return To West Wemyss.

West Wemyss Visit 1

Pat 2 is very much a "foodie" or Epicure and having enjoyed Pat’s dinner last night, a trip to the Buffalo farm to pick up supplies is deemed to be the goal of the day.

My part is to plot an interesting route through the countryside and arrive at the appropriate time at the farm.

After an excellent breakfast the car is packed with a picnic and with freezer bags

I make our way by Wormit, Kilmany, Hill of Tarvit, Lundin Links, Largo, Leven, Buckhaven, East Wemyss, Coaltown of Wemyss, and West Wemyss where we have our picnic.

We also take a walk along a similar route to that on West Wemyss Visit 1.

Chatting to dog owners is always a friendly occasion, and we discover the property following the fairy garden is the cemetery of the Wemyss Family. Today’s Blipfoto shows a part of the garden and two trees which have become closely entwined.

We also found out that the fairy garden is looked after by a group of mothers and their primary school children.

After our walk we then headed off to Dysart and then by way of Kirkcaldy to the Buffalo Farm. The complete outward journey took about four hours.

The direct trip home took 25 minutes.
