Second Birthday In Lockdown

Today we celebrated my second birthday in lockdown. Another wonderful warm sunny day.

We decided to visit Dysart which is a historic harbour and village very near to Kirkcaldy. Neither of us had ever been to Dysart.

I had discovered that some of the 18th century houses had been restored by the National Trust for Scotland as part of the Little Houses Scheme (in 1969!)

We spent several hours just walking about the village and harbour. There is so much of interest to see and photograph.

We enjoyed a picnic by the sea.

Dysart is on the Fife Costal Path and looks across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh.

I took many photographs. The main Blipfoto is a detail of the restored houses.

The two extras are of the harbour and of West Wemyss as viewed from Dysart. It looks quite Mediterranean.

Also seen behind West Wemyss is a Wind Turbine.

We enjoyed a great day.
