Poppies on the dunes

We had to wait till the very late afternoon for the skies to turn blue .....that was the plus point the negative was the very strong wind that caused the poppies to sway quiet violently.

There are quiet a few clumps of poppies growing on the top of the dunes and judging by the number of buds there are plenty of flowers still to come.
