Double D

It's always good to have young Damien around. As well as being a keen and enthusiastic student, for some reason, the radio reception's always better when he's nearby too.

Mucking around with portrait shots today, converting the images in an illustration software package, playing around with colours then projecting the image over the original subject. Next time, we'll try lining up the two a bit better, but it makes for some interesting effects nonetheless.

Took a detour on the road home back to the top of the hill Euan and I took some photos from a couple of weeks back, on the off-chance that the sunglasses I knew I'd left up there were still there. They were. In exactly the spot I thought they would be. A bit muddy from a near miss by a tractor ploughing inches away, but none the worse for wear . Stood around to watch the sun set and to see if I could spot a comet but a mayday call from our offspring to say they'd locked themselves out of the house and were sat freezing and hungry in a car cut that short. Mind you, it was freezing.

Other than that, Wednesday passed by with all the organised chaos I've grown to expect of hump day.

Thanks for agreeing to have your big hulk-like fizzog posted up here for the world to see Damien, and for putting up with the 'left-a-bit, right-a-bit, up-a-bit, back-a-bit' shenanigans to get here. You're a good dude, dude.
