Pipe'in

In a somewhat late planning manoeuvre I'm adding a pump to the pond to have some water movement.  

This means co-opting one of the drainpipes embedded in the concrete base intended for getting cables from one side to t'other, to pass a smaller pipe as an apparent drain.  This then requires casting a special brick section with a corresponding hole, at just the wrong place in the casting, i.e. right at the edge.

Have now got this far.  Pond drained to clear it out and to route the hose from the pump around to the back of this 'outlet' pipe.

Then to see if the low-voltage pump runs on the old large solar panel I've dug out of the basement - or it's a very long power cable...
