Victoria Street - Kirkwall

Clan is a constantly well supported charity shop.  Its best manifestation is CLAN House in Aberdeen.  This provides accommodation for family and patients who must fly south for cancer treatment.  There was a constant stream of folk looking for bargains today.

CMC took me out for lunch.

In turn this necessitated a damn good swadge.

A fine but breezy day.  Not the best for a Brompton.  Finally chatted with Davie in Birsay.  He was excited as an old friend from his Kingussie time was coming up to see him later in the month.  I slightly amazed him by telling him I worked with Rod 46 years ago in Flotta.  What goes around slowly grinds to a stop.

We have had to cancel next week’s planned trip to meet up with Willie in Dornoch.  Does this mean Willie will have to do all the pie eating?

Remember - Don’t touch that dial.
