Cheers!

It was lovely to return to The Blakeney Hotel today for one of their excellent lunches.  We haven't been there for well over a year.  Now that restrictions allow, M and I thought we would treat ourselves.     

We were delighted to find that their Norfolk Dapple Cheese Souffle was still on the menu...delicious!  An Earl Grey Creme Brulee with poached peach and shortbread completed the meal beautifully.  Our waiter, Charles, was terrific, really friendly and welcoming and found us a window table overlooking Blakeney Quay...just perfect!

On a completely different subject, the Euros have just started this evening, so there will be daily football matches to endure enjoy.  I'm not a huge footy fan but in the spirit of 'if you can't beat them, join them' I've got my 'Radio Times pull-out Euros chart' ready to complete with all the goals scored over the next 4 weeks.
