Road Along The River

I did a day of supply work today. Enjoyed working with children again, but the best part is not having to go back again tomorrow!

The day's work limited my opportunities for taking pictures, but the sunset looked promising - between the hail showers - so I hopped into the car and went down to the river. Unfortunately, the sun disappeared into a bank of cloud without lighting up the sky as I'd hoped.

It was still a beautiful and calm evening and hopefully this picture has captured some of the peace and quiet of this place and time.
