Silvery Derwentwater

Mixed day weatherwise for the final day of the workshop. We kept it local by starting at the Ashness landing stage and using 10 stop filters (with grads) to smooth out the fairly ripply water. Moving south closer to the headland offered these great stones as foreground, plus slightly smoother water.

From there, we moved to Ashness bridge (2nd extra), and onto Watendlath (1st extra) this shot needed focus stacking even though it was on a 14mm lens, as the Marsh Marigolds were only a few inches from the camera.
