Feeling chuffed *

It's always exciting to spot these least common and shyest members of the crow family, but to find a pair almost on our doorstep and willing to let me (and the dog) get so close, was a very rare treat. The one on the left was very vocal, the one on the right completely slent. Not a great photo, I'm afraid.

* They're choughs. In Welsh, brain coesgoch - red-legged crows.

In extra, I couldn't begin to guess what the neighbours were having delivered.
