This section of wall, on a sharp bend down the road from us, has collapsed rather spectacularly. It's possible that a car hit it, although there are bollards on the verge with no signs of damage. Or maybe the ground below it was eroded by heavy rain - but the base seems unaffected. Either way it's going to be quite a job to repair it, especially as a lot of the stones remain stuck together.
