In the woods

I had a Zoom meeting with friends who aren't happy meeting in person until after their second jab has taken effect. It wasn't nearly as much fun as meeting up with friends in a garden the other day.

It was very hot, so I only had a short ride through the woods but it was lovely. I wanted to get a good picture of these elegant plants as they draped along the side of the path but it was surprisingly difficult.

It's very hot and tomorrow we're planning to go to the beach. I'm a bit worried about leaving the cats for a large chunk of the day but I'm sure we'll work something out.
