Blue Dasher at Hughes Hollow

While my husband ran on the C&O Canal, I spent about an hour at Hughes Hollow, specifically looking for dragonflies as I haven't photographed or blipped any so far this spring.  There was no shortage of them and there were lots of cicadas and a variety of insects enjoying the wildflowers, as well.  It was slightly overcast which was perfect and kept the dragonfly eyes from getting blown out. It's better in LARGE.

It was most pleasant and time well spent.
