Surprising neighbourhood

On my walk this morning I took a detour after encountering an escaped, rather aggressive, dog. He did me a favour because I took myself down some cul-de-sacs I hadn’t walked into before. I was surprised and delighted to find this small lake at the end of one of the cul-de-sacs. It really is only a stone’s throw away from home. We have lived here for eight years and have never seen it!!
