It's been a hotter, closer day with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. 

I've finally discovered how to find Terry Pratchett books in German on the UK amazon website (search for Terry Pratchett Scheibenwelt). I can't understand a lot of the words, but these are books I know so well that I can follow what's happening regardless.

I managed a short walk to post a card to my German teacher, who is really very unwell, and saw this rose. I didn't know they came in this colour.
