Black Gamecock

I seem to be becoming a flower photographer instead of a landscaper. It just seems to be too hot to be getting out there unless until evening, maybe tomorrow.

This is a Black Gamecock Iris which I noticed this afternoon blooming in our pond. I had to to a bit of a search to find out what it is.
