Awake early (5.30) so I decided to get up and out for a walk. Drove to Grasmere with plans A and B, depending on whether or not there were reflections on the lake. 

The water was still so I walked around to the boathouse. It’s unfortunate that it seems uncared for. Three sides are overgrown and the roof is showing signs of damage. I passed two lovely wild flower fields on the way.

It’s been a non-stop day since then which included a trip to the recycling site with bags of garden waste, broken pots, plus some soil and stones. Driving out I was surprised to see a mobile NHS Covid testing station on the nearby car park.
